This lecture will include an epidemiological overview of obstructive sleep apnea, risk factors, common symptoms and treatment options including mandibular advancement devices (MADs). Participants will gain an understanding of screening patients utilizing validated questionnaires, and clinical examination.

    • Understand the use, designs, mechanism of action, and side  effects of mandibular advancement devices
    • Be familiar with clinical guidelines and protocols for the management of OSA patients with MADs
