    What You’ll Do:

Volunteers will cook, serve, and clean up lunch for 75-150 women and children in the Rosie’s Place dining room.

The Rosie’s Place dining room runs like a well-oiled machine under the experienced eye of its professional staff. They design, prepare and serve lunch and dinner every day with the help of a volunteer crew. You’ll get clear instructions throughout the shift, and the end result will be delicious. Volunteers assist with preparing the meal, serving soup, and passing out various items like tea and sugar. Volunteers then plate the meal and act as wait staff, serving guests at their table. After the meal, volunteers tidy the space by collecting dishes, operating the dishwasher, and cleaning off tables.
