    • - Review techniques useful in identifying self-medication in dental patients

    Speaker:

    Thomas Viola, RPh: With over 30 years’ experience as a board-certified pharmacist, clinical educator, professional speaker and published author, Tom Viola, R.Ph., C.C.P. has earned his national and international reputation as the go-to

    specialist for making pharmacology practical and useful for all members of the dental team. As an educator, Tom has received several awards for outstanding teacher of the year. As an author, Tom has contributed to professional journals and pharmacology textbooks and serves as a consultant to the ADA’s Council on Scientific Affairs. As a speaker, Tom has presented over 1000 informative, humorous and engaging continuing education seminars and webinars since 2001.

    Maritza Morell, DMD:  is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Public health Dentist. Dr. Morell is the Mass Dental Society region six Trustee. She is a Senior Clinical Associate in Pediatric Dentistry at the Boston Children’s Hospital and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine since 1999. In addition, she owns 2 pediatric dentistry and orthodontics private practices in Andover and Lawrence, Massachusetts.

Cancellation Policy
  • Refunds can be made online up to 10 days prior to the first class. You will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. There are no refunds less than 10 days out including cancellations due to illness, late arrivals or weather. Full refund will be given if your class is cancelled for any reason by MDS. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. There is no refund for courses once the course begins. Registrants will be notified by e-mail if the course is cancelled. The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address used to register.
