    BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. In this course, you’ll learn the skills of high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages. You’ll practice delivering these skills both as a single rescuer and as a member of a multi rescuer team. The skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize cardiac arrest, activate the emergency response system early and respond quickly and confidently. This course will help you give victims the best chance of survival.

  • After successfully completing this BLS course, you will be able to:

    • - Apply the BLS concepts of the Chains of Survival
    • - Recognize the signs of someone needing CPR
    • - Perform high-quality CPR for an adult, a child and an infant
    • - Demonstrate the appropriate use of an AED
    • - Perform as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR
    • - Describe the technique for relief of foreign-body airway obstructions for an adult, a child and an infant

  • Speakers:

    Russell Kane: COO and Compliance Consultant for Dental Office Compliance of New England (DOC4NE). Russell manages DOC4NE’s operations as well as provides compliance services, with a focus on HIPAA and risk management. Russell spent the majority of his career in the financial services industry, where he served as both a mutual fund Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel of a global asset management firm. He has extensive experience with helping clients understand applicable laws and regulations and drafting required plans and protocols. 


    Adam Wolfset: Senior Compliance Consultant and Dental Assistant for Dental Office Compliance of New England (DOC4NE). Adam manages our compliance portal and continuing education program. He has a customer service background in the medical industry having spent time at a major health plan provider.

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. There is no refund for courses once the course begins. Registrants will be notified by e-mail if the course is canceled due to inclement weather or for any other reason by MDS. The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address used to register.
