    Instant Impact: The Strategy and Technique of Immediate Implant Placement

    This course describes how to understand inclusion and exclusion criteria for immediate implant placement. We will review different surgical techniques for immediate implant placement for both single-rooted and multi-rooted teeth. We will discuss soft tissue management and tissue manipulation. How to identify and anticipate potential complications associated with immediate implant dentistry. Review different implant designs to maximize implant predictability and bone stability.
    • - Predictably plan immediate implants and socket preservation 
    • - Gain knowledge to effectively place immediate implants and decrease patient surgical time
    • - Plan for prosthetically driven restorations as it pertains to immediate implant placement
    • - Understand complication management of immediate implant placement 
    • - Better understanding soft tissue management  
    • - Avoid the early mistakes of immediate implant placement

    Speaker:

    Steven Litwin, DDS: currently operates in a private practice setting with his time divided between an exclusive full arch practice with both conventional and remote anchorage implants, a conventional referral based periodontal practice and various general practices. 


    Moderator:

    Gerard Kugel, DMD, PhD: is the dean of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and professor in the department of adult and restorative dentistry. Dr. Kugel maintains a private practice in Lincoln, NE.

    Attendees will earn 2 CE per Session 2, 3, and 4.


    Please Note: Sessions 1 - 4 will be available on-demand until Monday, March 3, 2025.
