Kirk Behrendt: is a renowned consultant and speaker in the dental industry, known for his expertise in helping dentists create better practices and better lives. With 25+ years of experience, he's a top seminar speaker, online education expert, and the founder of ACT Dental, a company that’s been named one of the fastest-growing in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine. When he's not transforming dental careers, Kirk’s enjoying quality time with his wife and four children.
Marianne Dryer, RDH: is one of dental industry’s most outspoken educators on subjects of periodontal instrumentation and a champion of early and advanced introduction to ultrasonic instrumentation into dental hygiene curricula. Her dynamic presentations, articulate academic instruction, and insightful curriculum development consultation are founded on more than 30 years of oral health experience. As such, Marianne is sought after nationally and internationally for her presentations on ultrasonic technique, risk assessment, infection prevention and radiology technique. Marianne has held faculty positions at dental hygiene programs in Texas and Massachusetts and is currently the Program Director at Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts.
Timothy Hempton, DDS: is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and an adjunct associate clinical professor in the periodontology department at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He maintains a private practice in Dedham, MA.
Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD: was a dental hygienist before earning her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and her certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a board-certified prosthodontist, the Chief Editor for DentistryIQ.com and Editorial Director for Dental Academy of Continuing Education. In addition, she is a Chief Development Officer for Cellerant Consulting Group, a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, maintains a private practice in Salem, MA. She lectures internationally and is extensively published. Her passion for prevention has stayed with her throughout her career and in 2010, Dr. Maragliano-Muniz was awarded the 2010 Adult Preventive Care Practice of the Year by the American Dental Association.
Jared E. Williams, DDS: stands out as a prominent general dentist, with over a decade of experience in 3rd molar surgery, implantology, and IV sedation. Known as one of the top Concierge Dentists in Houston, he's recognized for his detailed attention, soft touch, and unwavering promise to have patients “Smile After Surgery.”
Born and raised in Houston, TX, Dr. Williams attended Alief Elsik High School before advancing his studies at Oakwood University and Meharry Medical College, showcasing his stellar academic journey. He further sharpened his skills during a notable General Practice Residency at the University of Pennsylvania-Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Additionally, he holds a distinguished certificate in IV Sedation from Augusta University.
Outside of his direct patient care, Dr. Williams passionately teaches and guides general practitioners, especially in the area of 3rd molar surgery. He's the driving force behind the “The JW Method” movement, reaching many through social media, certified Continuing Education (CE) programs, hands-on workshops, and mentorship across the globe. He has also an author and is frequently invited to speak internationally, and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UT Health School of Dentistry in Houston in the GPR/AEGD clinics.
With a belief in "Service Above Self," Dr. Williams aims to raise the standards of dental practice and inspire the next wave of GPs.

Robert Cauley, DMD: originally grew up in a small town in southern Vermont. He graduated with his DMD from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine in 2014. After working as a General Dentist for two years in Vermont he decided to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Rob completed his Pediatric Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he served as Co-Chief Resident. He currently practices full time in Lowell, MA.
Carl McManama, DDS: is a Professor in the Department of General Dentistry and course director for several courses at Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he has taught since 1976. In addition to his teaching, he has maintained a private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts for the past forty-five years. Dr. McManama has presented over 100 CE courses on topics related to restorative and operative dentistry to all levels of dental audiences.
Ancy Verdier, DMD: is the founder of Worcester Periodontics, a periodontal dental practice located in Worcester , MA where he practices periodontology and implant dentistry. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University, DMD and Periodontal residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Verdier is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists. He is also a regular contributor to Tufts Practice Based Research Network.
