    Digital Workflows for the Modern Dental Practice

    Today’s dental practices are navigating a fast-changing landscape shaped by digital technology, artificial intelligence, and evolving patient expectations. This concise, two-hour virtual course is designed to help general dentists and their teams understand and apply digital workflows that enhance clinical efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and support long-term practice growth. With a focus on real-world implementation, this interactive session will highlight practical strategies for incorporating intraoral scanning, digital treatment planning, 3D printing, and AI-supported diagnostics into everyday practice. Attendees will also explore how digital tools can strengthen case presentation, streamline communication, and increase patient engagement—without compromising clinical judgment or the human connection that defines quality care.

  • Speaker Bios

    Speakers:

    Gregory Bennett, DMD: is an Associate Professor and Interim Department Chair of Adult Restorative Dentistry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry. He is originally from the West Coast and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 201O from the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry and followed on with a General Practice Residency at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. Dr. Bennett served in the US Navy as a Dental Corps officer for over 5 years with time spent in California, Mississippi, Kuwait, Afghanistan and Hawaii. Dr. Bennett left the Navy in 2015 and began teaching at the UNMC College of Dentistry and practicing in a technology focused private practice in Lincoln Nebraska. Dr Bennett performs research on dental technology with a focus on 3D printing.


    Gerard Kugel, DMD, PhD: is Dean and Professor of Restorative Dentistry at UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln, NE. Dr. Kugel is the former associate dean for research and Professor Emeritus at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He maintains a private practice in Lincoln, NE.


    Moderator:

    Ancy Verdier, DMD:  is the founder of Worcester Periodontics, a periodontal dental practice located in Worcester , MA where he practices periodontology and implant dentistry. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University, DMD and Periodontal residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Verdier is a Fellow in the International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists. He is also a regular contributor to Tufts Practice Based Research Network.

    • NON-ADA MEMBER: $99/session

    • STUDENT (DENTAL STUDENTS & RESIDENTS): FREE

    Attendees will earn 2 CE per session.

  • Refunds can be made online up to 10 days prior to the first live session. You will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. There are no refunds less than 10 days out including cancellations due to illness, late arrivals or weather. Full refund will be given if your class is cancelled for any reason by MDS. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. There is no refund for courses once the course begins. Registrants will be notified by e-mail if the course is cancelled. The e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address used to register.
